Should I sacrifice my happiness?

I am already miserable and have been for four years now. Right now I am at summer school and having a great time. I applied for transfer at this school and I am loving it...but my parents want me to remain at my previous school. I felt like I was suffocating there and it seems they won't take no for an answer.
